Chosen Solution
My ps3 are fk up a year ago, got no signal, can’t connect with controller, wont reset video, instead my ps3 shutdown after several seconds turning on and hold the power button. Then i just miss to play RDR cause i cant afford ps4 then suddenly i just want to fix my ps3 with changing the thermal paste & clean the dust inside my console. After that, i turn on my ps3 and IT FIXED, then i took photo of it
Then i just immadietly play my games that already inserted inside my ps 3. But, after i launch the game my ps3 just freeze after the screen changing to black and ps menu wont show up even i press ps button on my controller, then i just trying force shutdown with hold my ps3 power button. At first it make one beep sound, then 3 beep sounds then my ps3 shutdown. But, after i turn back on my ps3, it become no signal, and my controller wont connect and cant video reset too.. So it back to it used to be fk up. Already trying using AV cable instead HDMI and still no luck. Do my motherboard have bad component? l’ll apreciate your answer and suggestion. Thankyouu
What the console is experiencing is YLOD, yellow light of death where it attempts to turn on but turns off shortly after a few seconds with a blinking LED. Unfortunately there is no permanent fix for this (unless you can find someone that reballs them), reflowing the processor on the board is a temporary fix but will go bad again shortly after more than a month.
