Today I replaced the rear panel of my phone (the metal part) and after I got everything back together and turned the phone on I am not able to connect any cellular service. The phone recognizes the SIM card but it just displays “No Service” in the top left as if I was in a tunnel or something. Anybody know what could have caused this or what I can do to fix it?

Even though it says no Service, does it show any service bars/dots in the top left corner? If so, the SIM tray isn’t in all the way, or the cage that houses the card isn’t fully connected; If not, the wireless antenna is shorting out or partially connected to the logic board. Did you use an ESD safe set of tweezers, nitrile/ESD safe gloves, an ESD wrist strap, etc? If not, anything’s possible as to why it’s dead outside the theory I list above.
