Chosen Solution
I recently changed a charge port to fix a issue with microphone. However when I test ring the phone there is no sound. If I go into Sound settings, I can adjust the ringer volume up and down and sound does come out the loud speaker. I have taken the phone apart numerous times and the ringer does occasionally work but when I close up again it generally stops working. I have replaced the charge port 3 times ( same supplier though ) and I have replace the speaker. Occasionally it works but as soon as I close it stops working. Could the mute button on the side somehow be turning on when I close the screen ?? Thx
May be what I am saying is write answer or not but I too had the same problem but the only solution is put the charging completely until it completes 100%. I think the mobile while charging gets compatible with power supply and when we replace the socket it take some time to compatible with power,for example when the power supply is gone in home all components get closed or stop working ,suddenly when it comes back one by one started working (components),the low voltage bulb turns on first whether the high voltage on at last.In the same way our mobile components work similarly.
