I have and iPhone SE in my shop right now that is doing some thing I have never seen before. No matter what screen I put on the phone it has lines and is flashing, I put 5 screens on it. I put those same screens on another 5s and they worked just fine. Any one have any thought on why?
Try the screen on another SE, some 5s screens are not compatible with the SE, even though they are identical.
I had this problem too with cheap screens. They worked fine on a 5S but once I plugged them into my SE the display was distorted with lines in the screen. Apparently cheap screens work on the 5S but not on the SE.
