I have a Kenmore Elite side by side and my ice maker is not getting water to it. My inlet valve is not electronic, however the one for the ice maker is. I changed them out but I still am not getting water to the ice make. I have good water flow, I have changed filter, no frost build up on coils. I have waited for the ice maker to cycle and noticed that I am not getting any power to the solenoids at any time. Can this be a control panel issue?
Depending on your model number, you may be able to self cycle your ice maker. If you are able do so make sure your spout to your ice maker is clear of ice and give it a try. Your issue is most likey your ice maker itself or the water solenoid valve.
