No power to Breville citrus press, model 800. Just stopped working

Will not work/Trouble shooting from the manual. Try a different working outlet, Switch not in the ON position, Juice Press Arm not lowered, Juicing Cone or Fruit Dome not assembled properly or Stainless Steel Filter not assembled properly. The problem could be (faulty) switch, possibly the power cord or an internal fuse/micro switch/safety feature not allowing the citrus press to power on, wire to motor loose/damaged or motor itself faulty. The unit would have to be disassembled and tested with a DVOM to find fault. If not wanting to do the repair any local small appliance/vacuum shop could diagnose and estimate repair. If still under warranty return for repair/replacement/refund. Below is your manual and a link to Breville support. The last link sort of shows the internals of the juicer and has replacement parts. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button. http://www.brevilleusa.com/media/mediaaphttp://brevilleusasupport.com/ http://www.ereplacementparts.com/brevill

My 800CPXL stopped working while juicing, literally between two squeezes of the press arm. After disassembling I found out it was a security microswitch reacting to (making contact on) down-pressure on the reamer; there is another one reacting to (making contact on) lowering the arm (if it was that one, I would have simply shorted it). I bought one from eReplacement Parts (link to part), like the other reply suggested, but have not swapped it yet. Will post again once that is done.
