hi there I have a strange case here ! my iphone was working great but there was a problem with the dock connector so I bought one from I fixit and changed it but after that , there is no power reaching for any of the connectors ! ,what I mean when I plug a charged battery the phone powers on but no screen of curse and no sound and no power button or any other button working ! but when I try to call it the other phone used to call shows me that’s it is ringing and when I unplug the battery it hangs up so it is working but with none of the connectors inside working !!! what is the problem ? ps. I accidently hit the motherboard with a screw driver near the battery connector by mistake ! please help .
Did you unplug the battery before and during the repair? It sounds like you blew a filter/fuse on the display circuit. If you plug the phone into a computer, does itunes or windows see it? If so, you will need to replace the damaged component. This does require micro soldering skills.
