Chosen Solution
After reassembly , no power , may bave to replace M.B. broken power ribbon connector on mainboard . tried to reprogram bios (1/2) chips ? tried to bypass bios password , purchased used . No progress . Nice machine , good conditions . was dirty/dusty , running hot upon disassemble.
Hi, With the charger connected to the laptop, check if there is 19V DC on the DC-In jack (supplier example only) where it plugs into the motherboard. Either that or use an Ohmmeter to prove continuity between the jack’s input +ve and -ve connections and the red and black wire output connections on the plug
