My sister have this macbook pro, the one with only intel integrated graphics. One day it died and the charger didn’t show any indication at all. We suspected the charger died but after trying another one there was still no indication on the charger led or the machine opening. We gave it to an apple authorized service shop and they said the iGPU is dead, which came in as a surprise because I can’t connect the dots for charger not showing anything or the machine to respond at all. Any idea or known issue about those macs? I want to ask another completely independent shop too, but I wanted to take a look around first.
