Kenmore Elite HE3 dryer. I’ve used previous questions pertaining to my issue/similar issues. Thermal fuse, thermistor, door switch all are fine. Drum light turns on and off. Control panel does not have any power. Any suggestions?
Check for 220 volts at plug you may have 120 which will power light. Run drum but not heat Also lack of ground will keep control panel from functioning
I had the exact same issue where the drum light worked fine with the opening and closing of the door. My problem turned out to be the “End of Cycle Signal" button was wedged in behind the exterior face cover. Once I relieved that pressure and the button popped back to its normal position, the dryer worked perfectly. I’d suggest checking all those buttons on the front panel to make sure they aren’t stuck in.
Check for a loose wire the drum rolling around can loosen the wires pull all the wires off the control panel and reattaching
