Hello, i have an iphone 6s water damaged that is not powering on and it is not charging. I put the power supply on the battery connector and it is constantly taking 0.03A(motherboard tooked out of the case) and when i press the power button it takes 0.11A and it is not coming on. Where should i check first? I have everything i need (power supply, hot air gun, soldering iron, etc.) Thanks, i need your ideas!
I think that might the issue of U2 IC .Most of the cases like that this Ic is the main problem.
If it’s water damaged before just changing ics check for signs of the liquid… follow the liquid and check components that look bad don’t just randomly change, changing tristar may fix charging but it may also fix the phone enough to fry something else
