On my 2009 iMac 27" desktop, I have recently replaced the hard drive with a solid state drive. I’ve have also replaced the GPU graphics card. When putting it all back together and plugging it in, I have nothing - Black screen, no chime, seems like no power at all? Besides tearing it all down again and trying to rebuild from scratch - any suggestions for loss of power?
Sadly I think you need to back off some of your changes here. You may have altered too much before checking things out. First what GPU card did you use? Apple’s have custom firmware, so you need to use a board the system came with (or from another Apple system).
