I’m currently working on an iPad Mini Retina wifi and can’t figure out why there’s no picture on the LCD but the backlight works. It’s clear as day that it’s lit but nothing shows up. The device syncs to iTunes but I think it needs to be unlocked or something since it won’t let me in. I’ve tried multiple LCD’s and the exact same thing. Not sure what else could be wrong. I’m assuming it could be a fuse or resistor on the motherboard but I don’t know which one or where to search for it. I’m assuming it’s next to the flex connectors on the motherboard. If so how in the world do I test those? They’re like the size of lint! Please help!
Tap around the back of the frame. Sometimes this causes it to come back on, for whatever reason
maybe you did not connect the ribbon cable in all the way sometimes that the culprit . sometimes we get in a hurry putting thing back together. or could bent it jus a little.
