HI. My name is Neal. My tv was working perfectly up until a few weeks ago. Lines of red and blue came through tv vertically when I was watching something but you could still see picture. Then it was intermittent. It would be fine then gone again. But when I switched on the other day I heard a short whoosh sound like something blew. Now it’s just red vertical lines in centre and left of screen. When you connect device picture goes blue but red lines remain. I followed a few you tube videos and removed boards,checked cabling and ground connections. Found a couple of loose screws on earthing points. Tightened but still remained same. Has one of the boards gone ?? I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
Neal Golding sounds like either your main board or your T-con board could be the issue here. We really would need to know the exact model number for your TV and see what your boards look like. Post some pictures of all of your boards and cables etc. with your question. That way we can see what you see.
