ive been working on a dell latitude e6410 windows 7 pro company laptop and i havent been able to get it to connect to the internet. it always gives me an unidentified network, no network access/ limited access message. when i went to look at the ip config info so far, ive tried resetting the ip, restarting it and restarting winsock but to no avail. i noticed that there had been a virus on the computer and so i quarantined it with malwarebytes and used jrt several times. (the latter of which seems to keep finding and deleting the same 4 files referred to as “temporary internet files folder”) here are the ipconfig settings: Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601] Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. Here are a few thing i would recommend you try:

  1. test another laptop on the connection (if the other laptop connects successfully try the other suggestion)
  2. connect to the wireless network and run the windows troubleshooter
  3. disable and re-enable the wireless adapter
  4. manually update driver for wireless adapter(since its a dell laptop, you can go on the dell support website and download the device identifier to get drivers for your laptop) if there aren’t any wifi drivers on dells’ website go to device manager and grab the hardware id and do a google search to get the drivers If you need help on getting any of these done let me know
