I am from India. We own a LG 42LW6500 3D LED TV. When switched on our TV shows no image at all. We opened the TV back cover and found that the backlights are working and the circuits are also not damaged. But still when I switch on there is no image in screen and couldn’t check sound as we were not able to navigate. The service guys reported that the TV Display is gone and you have to buy a new one as the warranty is over. Can you suggest me any other ways to figure out the issue. ? And one question If the Backlights are working , does that fully mean the Screen is working properly, as you said in the video ???? Thanks in advance.
The problem could be with your PCB. Recently , when i reported to LG Service - their answer was in negative as the PCB is unavailable. Later, i contacted a mechanic who repaired the PCB and is working absolutely fine as was earlier.

I also had this issue, It’s the led backlight has gone bad. Company will ask to change the entire panel assembly , for huge amount of money. Or ask to buy a Annual maintenance contract. Still expensive. Simply go to AliExpress website, buy led backlight bars and replace them. Or u can also buy individual LEDs there, and reflow/hot air solder it yourself. The LG company is fraud. The service guy took ₹3500, but on aliexpress it costs only ₹2000. Thank you, Good Luck.
