Hello everyone. I have an iPhone 8 Plus that the Touch ID works but the home button function doesn’t. I assumed it was a damaged flex or component on the flex so I tried two other known working aftermarket buttons. Neither of those worked either but they work on any other phone. I also tried another display with all three buttons and it’s the exact same every time. Can someone please give some input on this? Thanks everyone
So you have tried those chinese “fake” home buttons? And they work with other phones, but not with this one? Have you tried other LCD? I had the same issue and it was U10 (turtle IC). I replaced that IC on home button and now it’s working.
