Hi everyone, Replaced the battery in this old iPhone 5s and everything works great except the flash. Any ideas what this could be? I did remove the screen but I thought I took great care not to stress the ribbon cables. Maybe one is not connected fully. Thank in advance.
Check the flex cable assembly, which just so happens to run under the battery. I’ve damaged that a couple times during battery replacements and let me tell you, it is a pain in the butt to replace.
