Devant LED TV 32”. No display but has audio. Tried our luck the next day but appears to went worse as no display and has no audio as well. Already tried flashlight test, and still has very dim videos. It slipped in my mind that this may be because of a busted backlight (or maybe not), but what about the audio? Please help me out. Thanks.
@laianne that is an off one since you still have audio. I would start with the power board and check for damage on that. you may have to measure some voltage from the power board and mainboard. The mainboard is the board that has the audio and it tells the power supply to turn on the power to the backlight. So that is the board that I would normally suspect but oddly enough is that you still see shapes etc. your TV seems a bit off-brand so we would have to see what you see.
