I have a 99 accord that with out warning started running rough and then stopped starting. It wouldn’t do anything. When I plugged my code reader in to see if there were any codes, the car started but the engine ran very rough and if I unplugged the code reader the engine would instantly cut off. No codes but the only way to get the engine to run is to have the code reader plugged in. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Hi, Don’t know why a code reader would help it to start but here’s the start wiring and ignition wiring diagrams for the vehicle from the 1998-2002 Honda Accord service manual that may help. 2.4L Engine
