I tried a full hard reset and also tried putting it in safe mode. The bottom half of the screen stopped working a month ago but the entire screen stopped working yesterday suddenly. The load up is also extremely slow and lags.
Hi, What is the model number of the phone? Has the phone been dropped or gotten wet at all? Seems as though the touchscreen was failing and has now failed completely. With most mobile phones the touchscreen (digitizer) is part of the display assembly and not a separately replaceable component. Open the phone and check that the display assembly flex cable connection to the systemboard is secure and if it is then most likely the display assembly module (LCD screen + digitizer) will have to be replaced. Search on YouTube for how to replace the display screen assembly on your particular model phone. Search online for UMX (insert model number) LCD screen +digitizer part to get results for suppliers
