My tv seems to have lost colour and is only black and white. I’ve tried turning it off / on again and trying a DVD but still no colour. Thanks Andrew
I recognize that this is an old question and will only be answered for completion sake since this behavior is still an issue. The most common issue for a Black and White display is actually the T-con board (Gamma IC). Always check the video input sources first. Use different sources like HDMI, COAX, Component etc. and see if that changes anything. If not, the prime suspect will be the T-con board followed by the main board. Depending on the exact model, there are now more and more schematics for that particular board. that means it might be possible to keep stuff out of the landfill.
