Hello I was watching a movie on my macbook. and i noticed that the backlight on my screen was a bit weird, it was like on the bottom half off my backlight was missing /like every other LED was not working. but i did not think anymore about it and aprox 5-10 mins later suddenly there was a light/flash from left bottom corner off my screen. and there was smoke :( i shut down the mac quickly and opened it up and cleaned it a bit. after that i turned it on, and the backlight on my screen, keyboard and apple logo was noot there anymore. it works fine with a external display, i also tried to reset the pram and smc without luck. from what i can read from a similar thread it might be something about a fuse. so i had a look and i think that the fuse or what it is, is not okay anymore…. http://imgur.com/a/2hE1x (there is a small arrow pointing at the fuse, also one without the fuse incase it was corvering something important) i really hope u can help me, since i have asked the repair shops around me what it would cost and they want around 400 dollars for it. which is a bit much for a mac worth 600 :S Thank u!
