I have a problem with my iPhone 4s, there is no audio when playing recorded videos or via the internet, all other sound functions are fully working including voice calls on loudspeaker. Any help diagnosing the problem will be appreciated.
Hey there, if you usually pair your iPhone with any bluetooth audio devices, try turning bluetooth off and seeing if this fixes the problem. this sometimes happens with me when the iphone thinks its still connected to my bluetooth car stereo. hope this helps Chris
Is Speaker function working on calls? if not, the speaker is damaged- probably needs replacement, or as in my case starts working on its own after couple of days :)
Change the dock connector it works fine for me I had the same issue as you discribe. You can try cleaning the dock maybe there is some dirty or dust I the dock. Take a small part and pull out if something is inside and try again.
I am having the same problem. But no answers have offered a solution to my phone yet. I just want it to play via headphones, no sound on video. Everything else works 100% fine.
The “change with buttons” option causes this. Check this box in settings. That fixed it.
I have an issue when I use my iPhone to video record something. The recorded video picture is there but no sound. I can watch a YouTube video and it’s OK. It’s just when I use the video recorder.
