So the problem with my 2ds is that if I turn it on it will not show anything and just power off two seconds later. It was working 20 min prior to this and nothing happened to it at that time. Please help! Ok new development the screens flash and you can hear a small pop from the speaker and then it just shuts off.
This may help: dsi flashs on and then turns off It’s a different model, but being a Nintendo DS, I’m sure the issue is somewhat relatable to yours.
Hi, The little pop is telling you that the unit is in short circuit. Possible causes:
- Broken screen (only way to verify is replacing the screens)
- Short circuit fuses (F1 a/o F2) - multimeter and check for continuty
- Disconnected wifi card - Verify if not sitting properly Good luck and good repair. JM
