When I install a new battery into my Nexus 6P, I do not get a charging screen and after charging for 30-60 minutes, I cannot turn the phone on. I can charge with the original battery and turn the phone on. Keep in mind that I am running OmniROM on my phone. What could be causing this? Should I be charging my phone longer with a new battery?

Usally batteries come with Approx 50% charge to prevent chemical damage during storage, 30 mins should be enough and since its not even showing a charging screen and old battery working suggests either faulty battery by being stored Incorrectly/Too Long or a damaged ribbon/connector
