Chosen Solution
I’ve replaced my old hard drive with a new Samsung SSD. I had backed up my previous drive and just did an uinbox and replaced. When I open recovery it won’t show up as an option when trying to reinstall my backup or install OSX. When I check disk utility it shows up as my internal device. What could I do? Thank you in advance for your help!
Is the new drive backward compatible to SATA II (3.0 Gb/s)? Did you first use Disk Utilities to format the drive GUID?
