My phone fell and the screen broke and became unusable. I removed the old LCD assembly, then plugged a new assembly. When I turned on the phone, everything was displayed perfectly on the new screen and all the buttons worked. However, nothing happened when I tried to tap or swipe. I already returned that LCD assembly because I thought it was defective, but I just received a new one from a different vendor and I see the same issue. I suspect there’s something I should be doing with my phone. Please help! Thank you.
If a screen replacement doesn’t solve it it would be more likely be an issue with the motherboard. Replacing the motherboard should fix the issue.
