I bought a display model of the Michael’s exclusive 2019 Lemax Nutcracker Factory because it was sold out online and at every store within 200 miles of me. I really don’t want to return it but it doesn’t work at all. I don’t know how to find someone to fix it or perhaps someone here can tell me how to fix it?!
Hi, Can you check that the power adapter that came with the unit is working and supplying the correct voltage output? According to this link it has: Electrical: Adapter included Current: This unit will draw approx. 450mA current at 4.5V DC, so presumably the adapter would be one of these a 4.5V DC adapter, but check what the output of the adapter is. It should be written on the adapter. If you have a Voltmeter or know someone who has, check the voltage outputs from the adapter. If the adapter checks out OK then the unit will have to be opened and the problem further diagnosed. Opening the unit will most probably void the warranty however, just so that you’re aware of this.
