Have you made sure that the replacement LCD is not for an iPad Mini 2 being used on a iPad Mini 1 or vice versa? As the displays look very similar but are not compatible with each other. The mini 2 LCD has smaller metal covers at the bottom of the LCD compared to the Mini 1 so make sure to compare old screen with new one. If they look the same in size it’s compatible.

Have you checked for backlight failure? This generation of iPad is very sensitive to backlight fuse failure. You can test to see if any of the LCD’s are on when you put a flashlight to the surface.
