I just replaced the Burnt-in OLED screen on this iPhone X with a brand new LCD display. All seemed fine until today, I pick the phone up and it’s showing the same Burn-in pattern from before. Did I receive a used display under the guise of new or is something deeper the issue? This LCD was obtained from iFixit
Maybe try to replace it with an OLED screen instead of a LCD. And this pic is blurry so if you can get a better pic then thanky you.
There is a fix to this problem! https://youtu.be/46KdDH5tSic The display tries to compensate for wear with software so if the person who replaced your display copied the data from the old screen your issue can arrise. You most likely have a oled display by the way unless you paid less for an aftermarket lcd
