I installed my new iFixit battery by the instructions provided. Everyhting went well. I calibrated the new battery. Although new , with now 2 cycles, the battery only reaches ca. 90% of its design capacity. 7855mAh compared to 8765mAh. As I mentioned , the battery has been calibrated, it has been on power supply since. With one battery use down to 70%.
Hello Uli I do not have much experience with these batteries, but I might need some more cycles for the system to calculate accurately. There is no battery meter inside, just some calculations. If after several more cycles it does not improve, try to contact the returns department and they will solve the problem.
