Chosen Solution
I spilt coffee on my Acer Nitro laptop, sent it to be repaired as it was shutting down intermittently, was totally cleaned inside but old battery wouldn’t charge. Bought new battery but still have same problem. Laptop only works when connected to power, does not charge laptop battery.
Typically liquid damage isn’t a very practical repair on any device because it can leave lots of electrical “gremlins” behind. Sounds like the charging system might be damaged or the battery circuit.
