I purchased a battery from IFixit in April. Ever since I installed the battery in my laptop, it will randomly shut down or go to sleep. I have tried resetting the SMC and PRAM and that hasn’t helped. It will shut down whether I use the batter or have it plugged in. This is very frustrating. Can I please get help on what I should do or if I can get a refund/replacement? I purchased the: MacBook Pro 15" Unibody (Early 2011-Mid 2012) Replacement Battery / New / Part Only UPDATE - Photos were added. I followed the steps I was given from Ifixit. I reset everything, recalibrated the battery. The last 3 images are after I drained the battery to 10%, which it did go to sleep at 50% and about 24%.
Well, your battery and charger are fine, clearly thats not your problem! So let’s look at your Energy Saver settings as I really think thats the problem here. There are two tabs one for the battery and the other for when on MagSafe, alter the settings for both to never sleep.
