I put a new battery in my iPhone 7 Plus. Install went smoothly. All connectors back in place solidly. But it won’t charge…no lighting bolt. What can I test? What should I look for? {I’ve tried various chargers and cables that I know work, by the way.) Could the battery be bad? In Settings the ‘battery health” is described as 100%.
Where did you buy the battery from? There could be a possibility you knocked the lightning port connector loose so open it back up and inspect that. That may need replacement as well.
