Chosen Solution
I purchased a replacement battery from I fixit, installed it with no problem. it works fine but doesnt charge. the light on the Magsafe adapter is green, it doesnt change to orange. the battery icon on the screen shows that its charging, but it really isnt. Ive already tried resetting the SMC several times, still not working. any ideas? I replaced the previous battery after it showed an icon to service battery. the computer has been cared for, has not been dropped or exposed to liquids. Thanks in advance.
