I bought a battery for my iPhone 7 Plus here in November of 2020. It’s still in the package. Is it still worth installing or should I buy a new one? Thank you.
Your battery will function fine. There is no need to purchase another one. Batteries mostly degrade from charging and discharging and occasionally temperature change. If it hasn’t been used it should still be 100% healthy.
I would think it’s okay as long as your can measure nearly full voltage, say 90 percent. Put it in but don’t seal up the phone and see it it charges okay.
