Chosen Solution
So, I have an iPhone 7 here. it did not charge at all, also clean of gunk, so I changed the lightningport and battery.. no charging. tried a new one, no charging, tried new battery still nothing. charging ic?
Definitely a board level issue. It could be the charging IC or another chip.
