I replaced my original iPhone 5 battery with an IFixIt battery in September of 2015 (so its been in use for ~3 months). It is already starting to die after 5 hours. It cant even hold a charge when it is not in use, ie fully charged before I goto bed and I wake up to a dead phone. What is going on here?
Hello ctysklind, Unfortunatley it sounds like your battery has low charge capacity, which happens to most batteries slowly over time. However in this case it sounds like it has rapidly delined. I would contact iFixit customer service and see what they say about setting up a return for your battery. Best Wishes! Jordan
I think will the re-construction you maybe didn’t branch enverything or you just broken something ! It happens to everyone! Ask to Google or try to borow a battery to a volunteer and try to see if the battery is the problem ! Or try to un-make and re-make everything ! I hope I would have helped you !!
