I need a transmission for an 88’ F150, automatic, 3 speed, 4x4, 350 motor. What do i need to find (or see when buying) in order to make sure it will go in my truck.

Well make sure the bell housing bolts match the pattern of tranny and ujoints match. And the shifters are on correct side if there in a transfer case make sure it matches the bolt pAttern too they useally have a 203 or 208 transfercase on them
