Hi there - I need to replace the volume control pot on my Sennheiser 120 headset. Does anyone know where I can find a new pot? OR, does anyone know what the part number is? Thanks, Steve W Fruita, CO
Volume ctl pot’s are common but do come in different sizes…they also have a resistance value printed or stamped on it’s body: for example in ohms or K-ohms having said that! their are exceptions when no markings are found. If it is not physically broken a repair may be possible. I doubt their is a part No for this item but can be bought cheaply.
Thank you - this is better than the $40-$50 they want to fix it at the factory…
Well - I was hoping for a part number so I could order it without putting my headphones out of service. I guess that the best thing for me to do is plan on taking it out so I can look at it closely. There should be a P/N of some kind on there that might lead to a replacement. It has some kind of a support appurtenance that is part of it. That would be a must so the pot doesn’t get pushed into the headphone cup as I use the volume control. Thanks for your help - Steve W
