My 9 year old 27" iMac needs a new video card but repair shop can’t find one. Help?!
The 2009 27" iMacs used: 661-5314 ATI Radeon HD, 4670 256GB661-5315 ATI Radeon HD, 4850 512GB My experience has been about a 75% success rate with doing a reflow of the GPU using an inexpensive hot air workstation. The GPUs are high dollar because of supply and demand but I found them very available.
