So my friend spilled water over there 2016/17 MacBook Pro & they took it to the apple shop & they asked if they can check to see if the SSD still works but they need an adaptor or something so would anyone be able help me out with finding one please.
You’re in luck! Sorta… OWC now offers a case for this odd-ball SSD! But theres a catch! You need to order the replacement SSD at least that is how the site implies it! OWC Solid State Drives For 13-inch MacBook Pro non-Touch Bar (2016 - 2017) So… Order the cheaper kit, don’t unpack the SSD only the case use it and then return the kit! Or ask their support folks if the case can be bought alone? You’ll still need to transfer the stuff to a new Mac system or a regular drive.
