Chosen Solution
My Shield TV is bricked, and I believe the only way to fix it is to desolder the eMMC chip, reflash it with a correct image (and possibly replace it with a high-capacity chip) and resolder it to the board. The chip is a Sandisk SDIN9DW4-16G and it’s surface mounted so the solder bumps are under the chip. I have neither the skills nor the tools to fix this, so I need to find someone to do it for me but I have no idea where to look. Any suggestions for me? Thanks
look in youtube for such surface mounted soldering. It may be more expensive to do this - than buy a replacement used board
