I installed a light up Apple logo, and am wanting to go back, but I lost my original logo. Is there a source for an Apple logo, or am I SOL?
Get a junker back case with serious cosmetic issues (or a unusable parts only one) and get it from there. As long as the condition of the salvaged logo is roughly the same and the colors match, you should be able to pass it off as if it wasn’t done. These can generally be found on eBay if you aren’t connected to recyclers and resellers, but if you have a connection like that I wouldn’t hesitate to make a request for a parts only back case with a good Apple logo with serious issues otherwise that impair them from using it. In addition to resellers, you may be able to ask a repair shop with surplus junk parts for one and give them a few bucks in exchange.
