I have a surface pro 6 which has had the nand chip removed and whoever carried out the removal has damaged some of the bga pads. Is it possible to fit a replacement nand in the second location instead. I have watched a youtube video of somebody swapping nand chips so its possible I think. Update (02/22/2021) Hi here are some photos of the affected bga pads, I am not sure which ones need to be connected as I don’t have a schematic.
Can you post a photo of the damaged pads.
