Hi there, got this phone a few days ago and tried to use a microsim with it (certainly not supported). In the process of pulling it out from the sim card slot, it seems both the spring (push/pull) mechanism got stucked or broken. Does anyone knows a way to fix or replace the whole slot? I ve googled for replacement parts any didnt find any :(
Nahum looking at the teardown I do not think that your sim card slot is replaceable. It looks like it is a solid part of the logic board Nokia N8 Teardown my best advise would be to disassemble it and see if you can get the pins straightened out if bend and to see if you can get the mechanism fixed.Of course do NOT do it if your phone is under any kind of warranty. Could be a case for Nokia carepoint. Just my 2 cents….Good Luck

if u r sim slot iz not working the throw u r phone in the toilet and flush it dont waste money i repairing it coz it want be repair so be smart ok
brothers and sister i waste soo much money in doing it but it was not repaired in nokia store also thats way i flush it
