This is happening with my Xbox is at least 1 year old, I can’t connect, let alone play. I hope someone has the solution
check the port for damage it could be crossed pins shorting it out, try a different hdmi cable. if the port looks fine and the problem still occurs with a different cable its probably a motherboard issue
