Chosen Solution
So i’ve been searching for a while but still can’t find an answer. My Xbox turns on for around 14-15 seconds the Xbox light comes on I can hear the fan come on, but then it just completely shuts off. I also can hear a buzzing sound coming from around the fan area it sorta sounds like it’s trying to power something up but can’t. I have tried power cycling but it didn’t work. I’ve tried to speak directly to Xbox but they always go straight for making me pay for repairs. Also I do think I know what could of happened, so my Xbox turns itself on some times so this one night it was on but I turned it off directly from the switch on the wall, i’m thinking a power surge problem?
Might be a short curcuit problem. Changing a MoBo might help.
