Chosen Solution
My Western Digital MyBook Studio was working fine. The next day it was turning on but not being recognized by my MacBook pro with the micro usb or firewire. Then today while plugged in the blue light wont turn on or hear the disc spinning/running. Why is this happening?
Have you tried plugging this unit into another machine? We need to determine if it’s the drive or the Mac that is faulty.
